Mezzanine Floors offer a quick and economical solution
to increasing floor space within an industrial or commercial building.
As a leaseholder, your rental is calculated upon the square meterage
of the ground floor and the space above, often up to 10m in modern
buildings, is "free" and under utilised. Whether you need
to increase production space, provide additional offices or extend
your storage capacity, a Mezzanine Floor is frequently the answer
and a much cheaper solution than choosing to move premises.

Based upon a steelwork
construction comprising vertical column supports and horizontal beams
and purlins, the floor can be decked in a variety of materials depending
upon the application and designed to carry whatever loading is going
to be imposed. Mezzanine Floors have to be approved by your Local
Authority's Building Regulations Dept and we offer to undertake the
necessary work to obtain this on your behalf, supported by all necessary
drawings and calculations. All of our Mezzanine Floors conform to
current Building Regulations and designed in accordance with BS449,
BS5950 & BS6399 to ensure the loading requirements are met.
The floors can have decorative fascias fitted to the exposed edges
to hide the construction, kickplates fitted to exposed edges to prevent
items from rolling onto items or personnel below, double row handrail
to protect the operatives on the first floor level, staircases, escape
ladders & ship's ladders for access and escape purposes, loading
gates and integral wear plates to move heavy product or pallets up
from the ground floor and any manner of surface finishes to the decking.
